Granada is one of the most important and stunning cities in Spain. Granada lies between Darrorriver and Genil River. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the east and is known for Andalusia culture. Along with its culture and architecture, Granada has modern sites and services as well. Granada is also home to one of Spain’s most important universities, the University of Granada, and many students reside in this beautiful city. Rest assured that you will always be entertained here with various activities going on. There are numerous exhibitions, cinemas, and festivals going around all year. One of the most well known festival is the international dance festival where every corner in the city is filled with flamenco shows, music shows, and various dance shows. The Patio Arrayanes and the Carlos Palaca has been home to thousands of concerts performed by world famous artists.

For those of you, who love jazz, make sure you go to the jazz festival which is usually carried out in the Isabel Catolica. There you can listen to different artists and meet with fellow jazz lovers. Another important festival where short films by beginner directors are showcased is the festival of Young Film Makers' Festival.  There are also bullfighting and flamenco festivals off course. The Crosses festival is also very enjoyable as all the houses and streets are filled with flowers.  The best time to enjoy these different festivals is during Easter week.
